Empowering Women Through Business Skills

Sanara Program Graduate Brings New Strength to Our Livelihood Program

We are proud to share that one of our team members, Huda Arbab, has successfully completed the Sanara Program Business Development Skills Training for Creatives, an initiative supported by SNDBX Ubuntu and Finn Church Aid.

This comprehensive training covered essential areas including Business Strategy, Marketing, Communications, People & Processes, Finance & Tax, and Legal & Intellectual Property (IP)—all crucial for running and growing a successful enterprise.

Huda shared,

“The knowledge I gained from this training will directly benefit the Livelihood Program at Blossoms Of Hope Initiative, which empowers women by teaching them weaving and knitting skills.”

She went on to explain how the new skills will transform the program:

  • Business Strategy:

“The training will help us plan and grow the program in a sustainable way, ensuring it can reach more women and provide them with ongoing support.”

  • Marketing:

“With improved marketing skills, we will be able to promote the women’s products more effectively, helping them attract more customers and increase sales.”

  • Communications:

“The training has equipped us with better communication strategies to share the impact of our program and connect with our community more effectively.”

  • People & Processes:

“This area will help us improve how we manage the women in the program, ensuring smoother operations and better support.”

  • Finance & Tax:

“The financial and tax knowledge will enable us to manage our resources better, helping women save, invest, and grow their earnings sustainably.”

  • Legal & Intellectual Property:

“A deeper understanding of legal matters and intellectual property will protect the women’s work, ensuring their creations are safeguarded.”

At Blossoms of Hope Initiative, we believe that training and mentorship are powerful tools for economic empowerment. The impact of Huda’s training will ripple through the lives of the women we serve—supporting them on their journey to financial independence, confidence, and dignity.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to SNDBX Ubuntu for this transformative opportunity, and to Finn Church Aid for their continued support of initiatives that create real, lasting change.
