Manahil Yagoub Musa

Co-founder and the Executive Director

Manahil Yagoub Musa, the co-founder and executive director of the Blossoms of Hope initiative, is a visionary leader dedicated to driving positive change in her community and beyond. In addition to her role as a global shaper and vice curator of Kakuma Hub, she serves as a learning facilitator at Amala Education, where she channels her passion for education and empowerment into transforming the lives of young learners.
With a background in business management and a commitment to women empowerment and youth development, Manahil brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her diverse roles. Her leadership at the Blossoms of Hope initiative reflects her unwavering dedication to creating opportunities for marginalized communities and fostering sustainable growth and prosperity. Her strategic vision and collaborative approach have positioned her as a catalyst for innovation and positive change, inspiring others to join her in shaping a better future for all.

Huda Arbab Ahmed

Co-founder and financial manager.

Huda Arbab Ahmed is a co-founder of Blossoms of Hope Initiative and the organization’s financial manager. She came to prominence as an advocate and resilient person after being an internally displaced person (IDP) in Darfur. With the help of scholarships and her own perseverance, she has completed courses in community business development and digital marketing at Cambridge International College, earned an IT diploma at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, an Entrepreneurship diploma at Moi University, and an Accounting and Finance diploma at Cambridge University. Huda’s professional trajectory demonstrates her wide range of abilities, from her work as a Lutheran World Federation teacher to her significant financial duties at Blossoms of Hope and Faulu Production. Her life experience and narrative have a significant impact on the initiative’s emphasis on education, women’s empowerment, and the creation of sustainable livelihoods, making her a fundamental part of its success and direction.

Khaltoum Abdalla

Co-founder and HR

Khaltom Abdallal, a driving force at Blossoms of Hope Initiative, blends her extensive expertise in healthcare management with a profound commitment to refugee empowerment. With a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Management from Southern New Hemisphere University and a background in social work from Regis University and Southern New Hampshire University, Khaltom’s passion for supporting marginalized communities is evident. Her previous roles as a Business Enumerator in Kakuma, Kenya, and a Research Assistant with Ipsos in Kalobeyei showcase her dedication to grassroots empowerment and advancing knowledge in areas affecting vulnerable populations. As the co-founder and HR at Blossoms of Hope Initiative, Khaltom’s leadership and compassion are instrumental in driving the organization’s mission of creating positive change and fostering inclusive environments for those in need

Esadin Mohamed Adam

Program Manager

Esadin is a human rights advocate who has a diploma from Turkana College of Technical and Business Studies in social work and community development. Esadin is devoted to improving communities’ quality of life and creating a safer, more positive environment. a place to call home. contribution to CBO as V. Program Manager is in charge of ensuring that all CBO operations are carried out according to plan in order to meet CBO goals and objectives. Esadin thinks everything is achievable with hard work and perseverance. The goal is “creating better world world through dedication and determination” .

Haider Issack Badawy

Administrator at Blossoms of Hope

Haider Issack Badawy, a key administrator at Blossoms of Hope Initiative, combines his strong educational background and dedication to community support. Educated from Fuji Refugee Primary School to Green Light Refugee Secondary School, Haider has developed his skills in teaching, especially as an IRE and Arabic language, and in providing extra help through the World University Service of Canada. He also volunteers in community counseling and student motivation, showing his commitment to helping young people and supporting their education. At Blossoms of Hope, Haider’s practical approach and leadership in education and community projects are essential in helping the initiative achieve its goals of improving lives through education and assistance.

Minas John Wiyual

Assitant Administration

Minas John Wiyual, Assistant Administrator at Blossoms of Hope Initiative, brings resilience and dedication to her role from her journey as a South Sudanese refugee in Kakuma Refugee Camp. With experience in IT and community development roles, Minas is committed to empowering her community through education and technology. Certified as a peer educator and equipped with a diploma in Computer Applications, she is driven by a vision of transformative change and actively supports initiatives aligned with her mission. Her determination to create a brighter future serves as an inspiration to all.

Amina Yakub Musa

A member and Advocate

Amina Yakub Musa is a dedicated advocate for community health and a member of the Blossoms of Hope Initiative, driven by a passion to contribute to the well-being of her community through proactive measures. Her commitment to learning and continuous improvement underscores her desire to make a meaningful impact in reducing morbidity and mortality rates.

Amina’s educational journey reflects her dedication to her cause. She completed a course in Community Health and Development at North Coast Medical College, building upon her foundational knowledge acquired during her Patience Attendance Course at IRC General Hospital. Her quest for knowledge extends beyond health, as evidenced by her pursuit of computer basics at Resilience Action International.
